New BiCentennial Village Haunted by Ghost of Frat Boy’s Past

Campus housing has a spirit problem; and not the kind you can pour into a Solo cup. Not soon after the New Residence Facility opened its doors August 18th, reports of a haunting have begun to emerge. Located behind Centenary Square, the village now stands where the old TKE house once stood. A small vigil of grieving fraternity brothers could be seen huddled together, watching as the building was demolished to make way for the new complex. Though the house has been relocated; some allege a powerful energy remains.

Centenary in Paris, the most popular of Centenary traditions, just finished up the program’s 2022 trip with enthusiasm. New Centenary students were given the opportunity to explore the streets of Paris, undoubtedly making lifelong bonds with their peers and procrastinating their assignments in equal measures. Evidently, though, someone was a little too excited to be there, as the obligatory head count in the Jackson parking lot revealed that a student was left behind in Paris.
